The Wheeling & Lake Erie Railway Company (W&LE) handles thousands of carloads of industrial minerals, sand, and coal. Shipments in covered hoppers include pulverized limestone, cement, and frac sand. Coal shipments move in open top hoppers.
As the largest railroad based in Ohio, W&LE offers over 840 miles of track through Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. W&LE has direct connections with three Class I railroads and interchanges with 14 Class II and Class III railroads for fast, efficient, and more cost-effective transport for sand, minerals, and coal.

Bellaire Harbor Service, LLC
Bellaire Harbor Service, LLC, operates a transload and riverport located in Bellaire, Ohio, adjacent to State Route 7 with direct barge access to the Ohio River, and has 50-car railcar capacity. The company specializes in bulk offloading and loading from barge to rail, rail to barge, and rail to truck. Capabilities include handling of aggregates, coal, fertilizer, salt, scrap iron, steel coils, and other bulk materials.
Warrenton River Terminal
A major transload and riverport at Rayland, Ohio, located on over 200 acres adjacent to State Route 7 with direct barge access to the Ohio River, and has 120-car railcar capacity. The company specializes in bulk unit train offloading and loading from barge to rail, rail to barge, and rail to truck.
