Warrenton River Terminal
Warrenton River Terminal, LLC, was acquired by affiliates of Robindale Energy Services and Pickands Mather Group. The footprint of the facility approximates 200 acres and currently contains a multi-modal transload facility located at MP 80.9, RDB, of the Ohio River in Rayland, OH. This facility has over 8,000 feet of existing track and is solely served by The Wheeling & Lake Erie Railway with connectivity to the NS, CSX, CN, and multiple short line carriers. While the historic focus has been on unit trains of coal and fertilizer transloading, WRT is developing capabilities to handle other bulk and discrete commodities such as aggregates, salt, scrap metal, steel coils, steel slabs, pig iron, frac sand, and other bulk materials. The facility has on-site bulk storage for over 2 MT of product and has inside storage for bulk products requiring dry storage. WRT provides transloading services between barges, rail cars, and trucks, and has blending and storage capabilities. This facility is located on State Route 7 approximately 8.6 miles north of the intersection with Interstate 70.
