Transport Paper

The Wheeling & Lake Erie Railway Company (W&LE) handles significant carloads of pulpboard rollstock and scrap paper in box cars for numerous boxboard plants and scrap paper operations in northeast Ohio. Empty box cars are regularly available on the W&LE for customers to utilize for reloading outbound paper shipments.

As the largest regional railroad in Ohio, we offer over 840 miles of track through Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. We have direct connections with three Class I railroads and interchange with 14 Class II and Class III railroads for fast, efficient, and more cost-effective transport for paper products.
